Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH work

response #1:
Mrs. Frisby and her family had faced many dangers and conflicts. One danger was taking her son Timothy to the doctor. She went by herself, even knowing that the cat Dragon was outside. She took him to see Dr. Ages. He told her that Timothy had pneumonia. He has to stay in bed and rest and keep or else it would come back. On the way hom, Mrs. Frisby found a crow that had caught in silver string, he couldn't fly. Mrs.Frisby couldn't leave him there to die so she helped him. The crow thought that she was going to hurt him. She said " I am going to knaw through the string." after a few minutes of chewing the crow heard the cat Drangon. They call him Dragon because he is so mean and nasty. Mrs.Frisby shewed faster and then the crow said "he sees you" she got nervouse. He said not to move and to climb on his bac. So she did. He took her back home and saved her life. Another problem that Mrs. Frisby and her family faced was not enough food. Mrs. Frisby lived in a cynder block. The climite was not great for the crops. She couldn't find enough food for her family. Then one day she came across a tree stump. She peeked inside carefully making sure nothing was in there. She didn't see anyone but she saw food. She walked inside and collected a few peices of corn for her family. She brought them hime. she faced these problems by being brave and couragous. Some positive traits she has shown so far are kindness, couragousness, braveness, helpfulness and many, many more.

The auther wants us to know when Jermey says " we all help one another against the cat" is that all the animals help one another to keep the way things are the same and keep eveyone from dying or getting injured. For example, Mrs. Frisby helped Jeremy get loose from the string so he wouldn't get eaten by the cat Dragon. Moving day is when the animals in the garden have to move to the other side of the garden so the plow can pass through without harming any animals. Every animal in the garden does this to keep safe. The plow runs through the garden to keep it as it is. This poses as a dilema because Timothy is to weak and sick to travel all the way to the other side. Mrs. Frisby needs to find a way to get the whole family to travel to their new home within 5 days. Both having Mr. Ages and Jermey as a solution to her problems is because Mr. Ages gave her medicine for her sick son Timothy to get well. Jermey is a solution because he had given Mrs. Frisby rides on his back so the cat wouldn't interfear. Mrs. Frisby's key is to find a way to get past moving day safely also Mrs. Frisby needs her son Timothy to get well within 5 days.
